The COVID-19 pandemic has caused people to reduce shopping frequency and increase the amount of stored food. Therefore, it is very important how to distribute the order and duration of food. Somdip Dey, Suman Saha, Anupam Ghosal and Lakshya Gupta have jointly created the nosh app, which can remind users before the expiration date that inventory items are about to expire.
ReMe Basket Ltd was founded in 2017, the company specializes in the development of food inventory management smartphone apps. Nosh Technologies acquired this company to expand its expertise and resources in food inventory management. The project team, which consists of computer scientists from the University of Essex, U.K. and University of Engineering and Management (UEM) in Kolkata, has now founded a tech start-up called Nosh Technologies with support from StudioX of the University of Essex.
